Cougars headed to the playoffs

GENEVA The waiting is the hardest part. Heading into Saturday night’s game against Wisconsin, the Kane County Cougars needed a win and a Beloit loss to sew up its sixth playoff appearance in eight seasons as an Oakland Athletics’ affiliate.
