A’s hire Romanick as pitching coach

The Oakland Athletics have promoted bullpen coach Ron Romanick to pitching coach. Romanick spent the past three seasons as the team’s bullpen coach. The A’s said Monday that Romanick will replace Curt Young, who recently left the organization to pursue another opportunity within baseball.
